Invisibility… (a poem by Jack)

Your enemy can not be seen…

Which has given em all the more power..

You’ve even became convinced that you’re all to blame…

A reactionary creature, reacting to circumstance is to blame for their reaction…

Well who provided the circumstance…

Fate… Chance… Peers…

Perhaps the answer is closer than you think…

Last night I woke up in a subdued frantic.. Only to witness a demon staring me squarely in the face…

His lil tail… Twirled in a cylindrical hynotic fashion…

No maliciousness in his gaze… Just an inquisitive look…as though he asked himself “am I doing this right?”

I don’t believe he knew I saw him..

He being an arbitrary pronoun..

Who knows how long he had been there… How many nights he’s kept me company or even if he’s guiding the words I’m writing now…

I wasn’t supposed to remember the encounter… But things rarely go as planned…

It’s too bad your enemy can never be seen… Yet, matter is prevalent all around you… Atoms… Nuclei… Yet those can not be seen as well..

So much prevalence… Surrounded by so much that can’t be seen…

Have you yet to search for your soul… Or because that can’t be seen it doesn’t exist as well…

But this liquor… And that blood… And this hurt… And them tears… They do exist huh…

Very much visible… Cautionary… Reactionary tale of a man not knowing his enemy…
