Can I define me? Or must the world…

You can’t let another man define your worth… This is the gravest of sins…

It causes much unnecessary pain… It’s very easy to be ushered down a path built upon the expectations of others… Even enslaving yourself to a path filled with your own expectations can be harmful… But to let the opinions and beliefs of others orient how you live your life is a life without freedom..

There can be freedom outside of comfort and stability.. There can be freedom in pain and uncertainty… There can be freedom in honesty… And where there is freedom happiness is sure to follow…

Yet to let another define your worth or anything of the sort is granting that person a power over you that they aren’t entitled to…
It’s as though they are god… And they are smiling down on their creation saying “I am well pleased..”

So how does one define themselves… How does one become comfortable with themselves without being rooted in some innate drive..

Is there a force within us all… A spark if you will… A gravitational pull that instinctively brings us towards our calling?

Can one abandon there calling without repercussion.. First one would have to discover their calling and acknowledge that it exist and have the courage to pursue it despite outside influence… Before that occurs one would have to know they have a calling to begin with…

Perhaps innately within some there has been placed a seed.. Cultivating… And awaiting the proper time to blossom… When that time comes no longer can one’s calling be hidden or even denied… Perhaps that calling is merely an impetus to push forth you as a person and us as a collective organism… A collective consciousness that is as fragile as it is durable…
We may not all be endowed with this seed…And maybe some do need to be dictated to and defined by others…But there is always a divergent percentage that are unique and unfortunately get lumped with the masses… The road is straight and narrow and a path less traversed…
But if you do feel unique.. Are you not obligated to fulfill that which endowed you with your uniqueness.. Should it not be seen as a gift rather than a burden? It is definitely a journey to find oneself… And as we all have our gifts… It adds to the whole when we reach out and exercise reciprocity… But it all begins with the individual and having the courage to define self..

Thin line between dreams and death (A poem by Jack…)

Sometimes I’m barely attached to this world.. As though hanging on but by a thin thread…
A thread a sanity… Or perhaps an allusion of reality… Either way I remained attached..
Suspended in time…
Afraid to detach… In fear I may float away… To some place far off.. And have no means of return..
So for now I hold on tight and look afar into the myth…
The possibilities… The translucent void… The haze of things that could be…
Dozing off into an imaginarium hoping I could see beyond the mist..

Asleep.. I Reach far into the slumber… Grip around the eye socket… And expand the eye of the third… Wink once with my fourth eye… And smile for some time with the fifth….

The horizons appear pleasant…

An explosion of emotion… None more justifiable than the next…just swimming with sharks… Mud sliding with the hippos til my next life passes me by…

God Save the Queen (A blog about freedom…)

The energy and effort individuals place into achieving their slice of the American pie is incredible.  Parents sacrifice their children.  Men sacrifice their bodies.  Women sacrifice their relationships all for the satisfaction of an appetite quenched.

And what is this illusion that everyone is after?

Some call it happiness.  Others call if money.  The term quality of life comes to mind. Is it anything more than self-indulgence?  Is it anything more than a façade—because, fulfillment cannot be gained through the destruction of one’s humanity.  One can spend their entire energies pursuing a career and letting the world around them crumble only keeping the ends in mind—for the ends always justify the means.

Yet I’m not here to condemn for that would make me a hypocrite, but the blame has allowed my mind to wonder.  A man could spend their entire life beating up their body pursuing an athletic career, if the idea of freedom was placed in front of them what then would they be willing to sacrifice.  A woman can spend her entire life pursuing a rewarding career, sacrificing her domestic life forgoing the conception of children and all for what? If she will do all of this for a “quality of life”; then what would she be willing to sacrifice for complete and whole freedom?

As is our entire frame work—our brain is wired towards the propagation of the monster called America.  Whether we realize it or not, we sacrifice all we have in order to keep this monster alive.  It entices us with glory, superficial reward, comfort and stability–But at what price—broken families, fractured psyches, hopeless lives, insecure self-perception, and no knowledge of self? So she as monster turns man into lesser monsters.   And our reality mutates into a hive complex in which the lesser monsters will give their lives in order to keep the Queen alive and thriving. She provides the sweet nectar of “freedom” and we give her any and every thing we have in return.

Our queen happens not to be righteous but greedy and full of insatiable desire.

Does her scope go beyond America?  Does she rule the entire planet?  Is there anywhere on this earth you can go and feel free?

Are we here to help ourselves as individuals at the expense of all others, or are we here for a purpose outside of one we can perceive for ourselves.

Could we be freed from the hive? Yet operate as a righteous hive.  Could the Queen be dethroned and replaced by a collective consciousness?  Does man need a Queen to fill complete, to fill like their lives has purpose and meaning?  Is there more to us than this human experience—and if so, how do we come into the realization of such? Because our Queen is omnipotent among us how do we transcend and usurp the power and hold she has on us.  Must we engage in drown like daily activity that slowly chips away at our humanity?

It begins with the individual.  Ideals of success rarely include family and community.  These ideals that we pursue are always things and things are replaceable.  These ideals of success aren’t necessary organic in nature, perhaps a lifetime of conditioning has influenced our perception of what it means to be successful.

So we have this spirit of freedom or lack thereof juxtaposed with the spirit of dominance. Why do some seek to dominate others?– from a personal stand point to a societal stand point… What motivation do they have? Is it derived out of a need to feel validated by the hive? By dominating and controlling others do they feel closer to the Queen? Is it a sense of validation through the sense of exertion?–Because the hive will not approve of me.—Because the hive will not approve of the honest expression of me, I will impose myself upon the hive.  I will become my own queen and dictate the desire of the hive in one fashion or another.  Is that the motivation of some to deprive the freedom of others?

This omnipresent Queen we have in America has produced millions of offspring throughout the nation—little monsters who seek to be like her in every way.  Little monsters who believe they are all knowing and seek to dominate in all aspects of life.  Supercilious monsters that spring up everywhere believing they know more than anyone else. Monsters that dictate how you should have fun, who you should love, how you should live, what you should value, how you should dress, who you should worship, how you should express yourself—because after all the monster knows best.

I leave you with this.  Is a queen really a Queen if she constantly has to prove and demonstrate that she is Queen…

Analysis on Brainwashing

garrukisan's avatarWhere is my mind?

The book I read, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, is a Dystopian novel that relates to the submissive pressure of the authority and why many people obey – not out of genuine altruism but fear. Alex, the anti-hero of the story, committed many crimes, but hypnotizing him by corresponding nausea with the contemplation of violence is not morally acceptable. That method strips the human right of choice and without that ability to make choices, the mere remains of freedom that we acquire no longer exist. This zombifying tactic is called brainwashing.

Brainwashing, a method of systematically changing attitudes or altering beliefs, is often used today, but it is not as noticeable or direct due to concealment. It is quite simple though. It is often used on children due to the influence of an adult who has been influenced themselves. The first step is to eliminate outer influences. They may…

A Fold in Time… (A Poem by Jack)

Blanked out to another dimension…
Vivid memories inundate
Vivacious expectations proceed
All vanquished as quickly as they appear…

As though they never were
But of course they will always be…

Emotions come and fade… But realities change with the tide…
Realities so quickly forgotten…
But reinvigorated by Something as intuitive as an aroma…

You see, an aroma can make heaven of that which was otherwise hell…
An aroma can take you back to a time long forgotten…
A smell is the trigger but it can’t spare you from the bullet… And a bullet has never killed a reality… Only rearranged what mattered…

Amnesia… Can’t even save you… Only invoke the possibility that ignorance is bliss…

As we reside blanked out…And excommunicated from time… In a vain attempt to free ourselves…In this stagnate reality of ours… Without a care in this first world glory of ours…

But no care is necessary… Until that which is forgotten comes to pass…And that which was appears again as Reality…

Before Infinity and Beyond (A poem by Jack)

If I look back I see infinity… A lil further back I recognize pyramids…in aww at the wonders they’ve allowed me to explore… I look a lil further back and dragons.. I see myself encased in androgyny…

I gather a whiff… Engrossed is the spilled blood of my ancestors…

But the flame from the beast’s nostrils… Awakens me and draws us back to the present…

The flesh of my flesh witnesses it all… Has witnessed it all… And will continue to witness it all…From amulets… To chains… To marches.. To boycotts… To content.. To regression.. To invisible chains around the neck of a beast restrained…

Devoid of all distinguishable features…made less daunting… Stripped of noble stature…

Transformation of a lion to a common alley cat…

Yet the future is beyond the horizon… Not as close as some would like… But not as far as others should fear… A future that underlines the beginning… For all things lead back into themselves… Such is the nature of the Infinite…

Divergence vs. Transcendence (Movie Reflection)

Recently I watched two movies: “Divergence” and “Transcendence”. I will not give so much a summary of the movies in this blog entry, but I will give what I gathered from the movie.

Both movies are a foreshadowing of a dystopian future of some sorts. “Transcendence” alludes that in the future the earth will be comprised of one nation, under one man’s rule, under one man’s mindset, and all that will hope to survive have to be linked to this man in mind, body and soul via a digital sort of mind link. On the other hand, “Divergence” depicts a dystopia of a different nature. In this future setting people are controlled by their personality or output towards life. People are separated into distinct categories and only allowed to perform a predetermined set of functions. For example, you have your dauntless branch and their job is to protect the civilization, the erudite are seekers of knowledge and have more to do with managing the civilization etc. In this movie, individuals are not free to decide their fate (Yet free to choose which category they will live their life out as.) and any who shows signs of being a “divergent” or free thinker is killed.

These movies provided a strong commentary about those who are suggestible to being led and those incapable of being controlled…And the consequences of each.

These two movies also provide insight, from a social standpoint, of our perception or conception of what the function of God is. Or how some would like God to be. I have specific views about creativity, I personally do not believe that man is a creative being but merely a conductor of things considered “creative”. So when I view a particular work of art I filter it through a different lens. Not so much of a standalone work of art, but more of an ideal pulled from a pool of collective consciousness. So I see it as—there is some segment of society who readily identifies or will readily identify with what is being portrayed by the art form.

In the movie “Transcendence” we have this pale skin man who’s aim is to “make a better society for us all.” He feels that in order for the earth to run as it should there should be one mind in control of it all. One set of core values governed by one individual and one state mind. At one point of the movie they ask the character if he’s attempting to be like “God”. His response was something along the lines of isn’t man always attaining to such. From this we gather one segment of the society that we live in views on God.

–An authoritative figure who has all under his control. –A figure who is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. –A figure who cares for his subject but only those subjects that capitulate to his will. –A white male. –A figure who has access to all the earth’s resources and is in control of who receives what.
In the end of the movie the “God” character ends up sacrificing his own life for a greater love. But the end of the movie implies he’s not completely destroyed–a sort of resurrection is implied! Much like the Christ Motif.

In the movie “Divergence” we have a future of a different degree. In this movie we have no idea how encompassing this network of individuals are. How many populations are there beyond the walls of this community we don’t know. We simply have an isolated community that lives within a system– a system that is dominated by lack of free will. In this society the illusion of free will is granted. Yet anyone who has any true free will is slain. In this movie we have a small group seeking to usurp the power of the entire community and for what gain– it isn’t clear. Ultimately it is control for the sake of control.

In this movie we gather an alternative depiction of “God” or at least his methods.

–an unknown figure who sends others to do his bidding. –System oriented (does not want anything outside of the system in place to exist.) –Unquestionable authority.–Repays disobedience with violence. –Political. –Deceitful in nature.

Thus from these two movies one can gain insight as to the author and man’s perception of what it is to be god. The removing of free will… which is quite ironic because god is the definition of free will… Of choice… Of decision… To withdraw that and dictate circumstance is a confinement of the opposite orientation…To emasculate a people of their self-empowerment and awareness is anything but benevolent. If one truly had control one wouldn’t have to impose their will. Only those without any true authority have to constantly iterate how much authority they have.

Now if we look at the definitions of “God” that we gathered and apply it to some of themes we experience in everyday life, we can truly see who is trying to play god among us. We can see if the idea or perception that we ourselves have of god is truly a healthy one.

How much different is the God we were taught to pray to each night?

If we applied this definition to any particular organization, religious group, political state, or government– would it fit. If so, is that something you should follow without question?

I don’t have all the answers. But I sure have plenty of questions?

Are you a Divergent? Can you transcend your thoughts?

Empty Boxes (A poem by Jack Anonymous)

Alone with no soul I can see…

Stuck in a box with nowhere to go…

Out of place with no place to be…

Surrounded by emptiness and superficiality…

I don’t so much want to be here anymore…

But like I said, I have no place to be…

A slave to my own immortality —the worst kind of misery…

Forever sacrificing myself… Just to fit in a box perfectly tailored for me…

Laughter– the only place I feel free…

Among the stars cheerful and glee… By myself in ecstasy…

In a mirror is the only hope I can see—

But in a mirror they can’t possibly see what I see…

The more self I sacrifice—the more the mirror gives way as to what they can see…

A soulless box – is all that will be left of me…

This site seeks to find the meanig of "It", because "it" encompasses everything…
